As director of key accounts for Tasty Catering, a suburban-Chicago based corporate catering and event planning services company, Ellen Harte oversees the company’s larger, high-volume clients representing several markets including event planners, healthcare, and higher education. With a desire to succeed and her ability to create strategic partnerships, Ellen continues to drive company growth by expanding markets with event planning solutions that positively impact customer satisfaction, employee morale and bottom line results.

During Ellen’s 15 years of event planning experience, she has been published in industry media and recognized with numerous awards for her originality, integration of event elements, quality, attention to detail and ability to meet objectives. She earned her Certified Professional Catering Executive (CPCE) designation from the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) in 2009. Ellen is also a proud recipient of the Influential Women in Business 2008.

An active member of industry organizations including ISES (International Special Event Society), NACE (National Association of Catering Executives) and MPI (Meeting Professionals International), Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF), and National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Ellen is currently serving on the 2011 MPI L.E.A.P. Education and Awards committee. She also recently served as a speaker at The Business Ledger’s 2010 Hospitality Forum & Expo.
