Executive Director of University Events West Virginia University,
Robin L. Yorty is the Executive Director of University Events and Liaison to the President at West Virginia University. Her Role includes advising the president and first lady on how to proceed on various matters related to the University relationships as well as being responsible for the day-to-day operations of Blaney House, Home of the President. One of the things she loves about her position is that no two days are ever the same.
She and her team of event professionals, support WVU’s strategic plan goals through the effective use of events that support West Virginia University’s Land Grant mission.
Ms. Yorty is a graduate if West Virginia University and serves on boards of several community organizations supporting the arts.
