Sandor (Shawn) Bittman, Executive Chef at A Thyme to Cook has over 25 years of culinary experience. Having been classically trained Chef Bittman is versed in many style of cooking and using the freshest local ingredients available. Prior to coming to A Thyme to Cook, eleven years ago, Chef Bittman spent time as an executive chef in hotels such as the famed Norwich Inn and Spa and the Lighthouse Inn. His diverse knowledge in flavor fusion and classical cuisine as well as his strong management skills have helped bring A Thyme to Cook to the forefront in catering excellence. Chef Bittman is a member of the International Caterers Association, the American Culinary Federation, and The Connecticut Chefs Association.
