JoAnne Kruse has over twenty years experience in the field of human resources, culminating in the founding of the HR consulting services company, HCpartners. HCpartners is dedicated to supporting companies in the areas of talent acquisition & development, rewards, and the improvement of individual and group performance. JoAnne works with small and large businesses alike, leveraging her HR expertise and pragmatic business style to improve the profit and effectiveness of her clients. She also recently launched a subsidiary business, HCworx, an online HR solution for small to mid-sized businesses built to address the very unique needs of smaller businesses.

Over the course of her career JoAnne has served in a series of HR executive roles, most recently as EVP Human Resources for Travelport Ltd. During her tenure she played a critical role in the acquisition, structuring and development of the more than two-dozen companies and the personnel acquired to form this industry leader in business-to-business travel technology. JoAnne has previously worked in a variety of human resource positions at Cendant Corporation, PepsiCo, Inc., Frito-Lay, Clairol, and the Chase Manhattan Bank. JoAnne received a master’s degree from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.

Committed to education and philanthropy, JoAnne is an adjunct professor with Fairleigh Dickinson University teaching graduate level Human Resource courses, and she is the Program Director for the Cornell University HR in Hospitality annual 2011 conference. She serves as a board member of Help Women and Children Now/Kidzfest, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the health and life experiences of women and children, and is an Editorial Board member with the Cornell Hospitality Quarterly, a research magazine produced by Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
