Jennifer Delaye
CEO
The JDK Group, Camp Hill, PA
Jennifer Delaye is CEO of The JDK Group, the founding organization of a collection of event service companies—JDK Catering, Essential Party Rentals, Imagine Event Design, and Weddings by JDK. Delaye opened the company in 1987 with her siblings, Drew and Kirsten (the “D” and “K” in JDK).

In 2007, JDK opened a rental division, Essential Party Rentals and event design and production division called Imagine Event Design. The two separate companies offer some of JDK’s most popular party supplies for rent including tables, chairs, china, glassware and linens. In addition, Imagine Event Design offers event florals, lighting, unique props, and décor that allow clients the capability to have a truly memorable event.

In 2010, following the redesign of The JDK Group brand, Delaye formed her fourth company, Weddings by JDK. This company is a unique hybrid with individual wedding services to capture one or all of every bride’s special desires. Specializing in planning and consultation, design, florals, catering, and rentals, Weddings by JDK’s goal is to create a memorable wedding and a stress free occasion. Delaye hired the company’s first full-time wedding planner, Susan Moran, formally from V&M Wedding Concepts, for expansion into a new line of business.

As a mother of four children and highly integrated CEO of JDK, Delaye always finds the time to give back to the community. She serves on the board of the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and the International Caterers Association. JDK is well known for its philanthropic commitment as well. The company annually donates food and rental services to approximately 1 non-profit fundraisers and organizations.

For both her business savvy and community service, Delaye and JDK have received numerous accolades. For almost a decade, Harrisburg Magazine readers have named JDK the region’s best caterer. In 2000, Jen was chosen as one of Pennsylvania’s “5 Best Women in Business”. In 2005, JDK Catering was awarded Small Business of the Year by both the Harrisburg Regional Chamber and the Central Penn Business Journal.
