James spent the earlier part of his career taking on part time work in a restaurant kitchen while attending post secondary education. An instant love of food and events was born and he moved on to manage the kitchen and develop new menus. Following this experience James spent 11 years in the Destination Management business with Rare Indigo Destination Marketing which organized high end corporate incentive trips into Western Canada. Glacier top luncheons, gourmet catered affairs and worldwide travel fueled his passion for events and food. More recently James was a consultant in the events industry and after a long standing friendship with David Peake he joined Peake of Catering in Vancouver as General Manager.
