A managing partner in Mitchell’s Catering and Events, North Carolinas most requested and award winning caterer, David inadvertently & off-handedly began his career in food & entertaining at the age of 8 while growing up and helping out in his parent’s bakery. Before moving to the NC Triangle area he spent 3 years as a personal cook to choreographer Agnes DeMille while training for a career in performing arts. His fascination and love of great food won out over his dancing endeavors and his performances now are considered the finest caterings available throughout the Carolinas.

David is a 20 year member of ISES and is a past chair of the ISES International MARCOM Committee. He is also and active member of NACE, ICA, and past member of The Special Events Magazine Advisory Board. Industry recognition to David and Mitchell’s Catering and Events include The Special Event Gala Award, Carolina EVIE Awards, Triangle NACE Awards, and numerous ESPRIT and CATIE Award nominations.
