Jason is the owner of Bella Sera, a special event venue and catering company located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA. In the fall of 2009 he opened Bella Sera Urban Trattoria in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh’s Market Square. Over the last 10 years he has held their popular cooking classes and wine dinners each season.

Jason has traveled the east coast working at world-class destinations such as Nemacolin Woodlands, Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island Resort in Charleston, SC. In Philadelphia, he ran the off-premise catering division for his uncle’s multi-million dollar corporate picnic/catering facility. In New York City he was the executive catering chef at Dean & DeLuca, the prestigious Manhattan gourmet store.

A third-generation food service entrepreneur, Jason launched his first catering business in 1989 and has since become one of the most respected caterers in the Pittsburgh area. In addition to his business ventures, Jason serves on the board of The United Way and volunteers for various non-profits. He has two daughters, Lily and Lauren, and resides in Upper St. Clair, PA.
