Steven Overlay is presently the Executive Pitmaster for Memphis Championship Barbecue, Las Vegas, Nevada.

For the past decade Steven has been apprenticing under “The Legend of Barbecue”, Mike Mills. Steven is the overseer of all kitchen operations of all three Memphis Championship Barbecue locations, as well as the on-site and off-site catering and vending operations.

Steven has been named “Boldest Griller in America” by celebrity chef Guy Fierri and the National Pork Council. Nominated as “Employee of the Year” in 2010 for the National Restaurant Association (NvRA). Is a member of: NBBQA, MBN, KCBS, RMBBQA, and AZBBQ. He is also the team captain of the award winning competition barbecue team “Sin City Smokers”.
